President Zardari: Pakistan’s Democracy delivers another disaster for the people
London, UK, September 6 2008 – With today’s election victory of Asif Zardari as president, the people of Pakistan once again see the return of the same democratic politicians who ruined the country before the start of the disastrous dictatorship of General Musharraf. Despite the changing faces, servitude to Western powers is the one constant factor in Pakistan’s current political landscape.

“Zardari’s close links with Zalmay Khalilzad who was central to US colonisation of Iraq and Afghanistan may indicate the route to the US colonisation of Pakistan.”
”Despite the election of Zardari, there is little hope of a solution to the problems that Pakistan is facing and the short term prospects for the people looks bleak despite the fact that Pakistan has the world’s 2nd largest coal reserves, 5th largest copper and gold reserves, is the 9th largest producer of wheat and is the 4th largest producer of milk. Pakistan’s problems are the product of decades of failed capitalist policies; the failure of democracy and dictatorship; the interference by America and Britain in its affairs and the absence of a sincere and competent leadership.”
“Only a new politics based on unity and Islam – the Khilafah – can address the problems facing Pakistan and the Muslim world. The Khilafah state would liberate the Muslim world from Western colonialism and pursue policies free from servitude to Washington or London, defending its frontiers and looking after its people’s affairs.”
